SmartAndFun

Hi y'all! I'm a mom and writer out of Texas. I love passing on little tips that have made my life richer, easier and more fun. That's why I chose the screen name SmartAndFun--I like to find smart ways to make life more fun, then share them! (It's not that I think I am particularly smart or fun, although I wish I were.) It's just that when I discover something that is smart, or fun, or both, I love to tell everyone about it. What has helped me may also help you.

I like to write about animals, my kids, beauty products, cooking, education and psychology. I guess you could say I'm a typical mom writing about typical mom stuff.

Hubpages is a new adventure for me! I have a bachelor's in journalsim and advertising, and have previously worked as a copywriter and a technical writer, so I've always written assignments that someone else has given me. It will be interesting to see what I come up with on my own.
